The new LaCrosse still has three power systems, and the 2.0T and 3.0L engines have been newly adjusted.
In terms of power system, the new LaCrosse still provides four power systems: 2.4L, 2.0T 3.0L V6 and 2.4L, of which the 3.0L V6 model was first launched in April this year, and the 2.4L and 2.0T models will be later, and the launch time will be in June.
Among the three transmission power systems of the new LaCrosse, the data of the new 2.4L engine is exactly the same as the current one, with 186 horsepower and 240 Nm. The maximum engine power of the new 3.0L model is increased by 7 HP compared with the old model, which is 265 HP, and the maximum is the same, both of which are 296 Nm. The maximum torque of the new 2.0T engine is 254 HP, which is 34 HP more than that of the old one, and the progress is obvious. The maximum torque is 350 Nm, and the output speed range is wider than that of the old one, from 2000-4000rpm to 2000-5000rpm. All models are equipped with a 6-speed automatic manual transmission.
IntelliSafe/IntelliDrive/IntelliLink three systems
The three systems of IntelliSafe, Intellidrive and IntelliLink launched by the new LaCrosse are the biggest highlights of the new car. IntelliSafe is forward-looking, including full speed, collision warning system, lane departure warning system, lane change assistance system and parking warning system.
Intellidrive intelligent and efficient power system is an integrated concept description for power system, chassis technology and 6-speed automatic manual transmission. The details of this part have also been mentioned above, so I will not elaborate here. The IntelliLink intelligent vehicle interactive system is the biggest highlight of the new LaCrosse. The number of new LaCrosse 2.4L models has been reduced to three.
There are 6 models (including 2 hybrid models) of the old LaCrosse, while the new LaCrosse has been reduced to 3 models (including 1 hybrid model). In terms of vehicle size, there is only a small change between new/old models.
The specifications of the new/old LaCrosse models with different configurations have not changed. The comfort version still uses 225/55 R17 tires, while the luxury version uses 245/45 R18 tires. The "eAssist Energy-saving Comfort Model" is equipped with Goodyear P215/55 R17 tires with a relatively narrow tire width, which is consistent with the old LaCrosse hybrid vehicle. There is no change in the suspension system. The new/old models are both pre-McPherson and rear multi-link independent suspensions. In terms of safety configuration, front front/side airbags and front and rear penetrating side airbags are all equipped, while esc, TCS, tire pressure monitoring system and speed-sensitive automatic door locking system are still standard. In addition, Onstar OnStar, reversing camera and electronic anti-glare interior and exterior rearview mirrors are all equipped in the other two models except "2.4L eAssist energy-saving and comfortable".
In terms of comfortable configuration, all 3 models of the 2.4L New LaCrosse have IntelliLink intelligent vehicle interactive system and 8-inch high-definition digital touch display screen, but the Multi-Touch touch independent handwriting input board is not standard. Other configurations, such as independent dual-zone full, double-deck sound insulation glass, and two-piece are also standard on all three models.
Model review:
On the whole, the new LaCrosse reduced the four 2.4L models of the old LaCrosse to two. From the aspect of configuration analysis, it can be considered that after the launch of the new models, the two models of Old LaCrosse, Comfort Edition and Deluxe Edition, were cancelled, while the TAG Heuer Edition and Deluxe Edition were retained, and they were completely upgraded and configured. The new LaCrosse only introduced a 2.4L hybrid electric vehicle. Although there is no reduction in safety configuration, it is much lower than the old hybrid electric vehicle in other configurations. It not only has no car navigation, 11 speakers, 230V power supply in the rear row, electronic anti-glare inside and outside rearview mirrors, but also has no front led fog lights. Of course, the future 2.4L eAssist energy-saving comfort model will not be the main sales model of LaCrosse.
The new LaCrosse 2.0T model is reduced by one, and the 3.0L is still the flagship model, with only one model.
There are three 2.0T models in the old LaCrosse, and the new model is reduced to two models, while the 3.0L model is the same for the old and new models, with only one model, and the configuration is also the highest in the LaCrosse system.
In terms of configuration, such as, led, panoramic sunroof, Bluetooth phone, front double airbags, side airbags, side air curtains, tire pressure monitoring, Onstar OnStar and dual-zone constant temperature air conditioning are standard configurations on both 2.0T models and 3.0L models.
The main configuration differences between the two 2.0T models are that the 2.0T sidi Zhixiang flagship model has more full-speed adaptive cruise system, collision warning system, lane departure warning system, car navigation system and Bose audio system than the 2.0T elite technology model. As for the configuration of the 3.0L model, the rear blue light entertainment system and air purification device are added on the basis of the 2.0T sidi Zhixiang flagship model.
Model review:
After the number of new LaCrosse 2.0T models is streamlined, compared with the old 2.0T comfort version, the 2.0T TAG Heuer version and 2.0T flagship version are retained, and they are renamed as 2.0T sidi Elite Technology Model and 2.0T sidi Smart Enjoy Flagship Model. From the configuration level, the conventional comfort configurations of the two 2.0T models of the new LaCrosse are relatively complete, and the main differences are navigation, Bose audio and some high-tech active safety configurations. As the flagship model of LaCrosse, the 3.0L model naturally has all kinds of configurations, among which the full-speed adaptive cruise system, collision warning system and lane departure warning system are all high-tech safety configurations that are not available on the old LaCrosse 3.0L model.
