In addition, Midea’s EVOX system is a flexible variable frequency heat pump replacement scheme specially developed to meet the replacement needs of existing users of central air duct system in mainstream residential scenes in North America. It is an effective solution under the general trend of heat pump switching, and really helps North American users to switch to high-efficiency heat pumps with lower cost and simpler installation method. EVOX sets are deeply loved by overseas installers. In the latest product survey of ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America), EVOX won as high as 98% of installers’ willingness to try out, and its sales in North America will see a rapid growth of 200%+ in 2022.
As a supplier of system-level solutions for the core components of consumer appliances, GMCC gmcc and Welling Weiling, subsidiaries of Midea Industrial Technology Group, made their debut with "multi-scene, full coverage" products and solutions such as American air duct machines, light commercial air conditioners, window air conditioners, refrigerators, heat pumps and hot water management for vehicles. In October, 2022, Midea Building Technology invested in a new production and R&D base in Europe, and the foundation stone was officially laid in Italy. According to the plan, the new production base will invest 60 million euros, including heat pump production center and R&D center, which is expected to be put into operation in the second quarter of 2024.
