Alan Campbell, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said that after a comprehensive internal and external search process, I welcome Hassane to join Anson Semiconductor. This move will realize the great potential of the company for customers, partners, employees and other stakeholders, expand the leading position in the target long-term growth market, accelerate the growth of income, gross profit margin and profit, and enhance the value of stakeholders.
It is understood that before joining Anson Semiconductor, El-Khoury served as President and CEO of Cypress Semiconductor and a member of the board of directors until the company was sold to Infineon in April 2020. During his thirteen years in Cypress, he held various positions, including business department management, product development, applied engineering and business development. After emigrating from Lebanon to the United States at the age of 17, El-Khoury obtained a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Lawrence University of Science and Technology and a master’s degree in engineering management from Auckland University. He is one of the winners of 40 people under the age of 40 in Silicon Valley in 2018 and is currently a member of KeraCel’s board of directors.
Anson said that the appointment of El-Khoury coincided with Keith Jackson’s resignation as CEO and president of Anson Semiconductor and a member of the board of directors. Mr. Jack Xin will continue to be the consultant of the company until the end of May 2021 to ensure the effective transition of the leadership to El-Khoury.
