Game Grape July 10 news, according to foreign media reports, EA has completed the acquisition of mobile game studio Industrial Toys. The transaction was completed in July, and EA did not disclose the purchase price.

  

  Founded in 2012, Industrial Toys is located in Pasadena, California, USA. Alex Seropian, its co-founder, participated in the founding of Bungie (developer of Halo and Destiny) and served as CEO. At Industrial Toys, Seropian and Tim Harris, another co-founder, hope to create shooting games for mobile platforms, and launch several works such as the sci-fi shooting game Midnight Star.

  "To create breakthrough games, we need developers who are full of passion and can give full play to their creativity. When we worked with the Industrial Toys team, we were deeply impressed by their unique methods. " Samantha Ryan, senior vice president and general manager of EA’s global studio group, said in a statement, "We are very happy that they have joined our studio group to explore new ideas with us and create excellent new games for players."

  Industrial Toy has 14 employees, and the two founders also founded a studio called Gunslinger Studios (managed by Harris), but the latter has not been acquired by EA and will remain independent.

  In recent days, EA has frequently bought other companies. In November 2017, EA acquired Respawn, the developer of Titan Fall, for US$ 455 million. In May this year, EA acquired GameFly’s cloud service assets.
