This forum is sponsored by the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance (CSA) and the Third Generation Semiconductor Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance (CASA), with special support from Shenzhen Longhua District Science and Technology Innovation Bureau. The forum closely follows the development pulse of the times and the development trend of the industry, with the theme of "Meeting new challenges and creating an era together", and the resources of the two international forums are superimposed. Through nearly 30 special technical and industrial conferences, the new problems of semiconductor lighting and the third generation semiconductor development under the new situation are discussed from an international perspective, showing many new highlights.
According to the data of the organizing committee, there are more than 1,500 registered representatives from 23 countries and regions around the world, including China, the United States, Canada, Australia, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, Poland, Belgium, Denmark, Hungary, Sweden, South Korea, Britain, France, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. During the three-day forum, 2 theme conferences, 13 technical sub-forums, 8 industrial sub-forums and 7 satellite activities were held, which comprehensively and deeply discussed the opportunities and challenges of semiconductor lighting and third-generation semiconductor materials under the new situation, exchanged new developments and trends at home and abroad, and provided new thinking and new directions for the field of semiconductor lighting and third-generation semiconductor. This forum was also well received and recognized by the delegates.
A large number of high-quality papers have emerged in this forum. During the preparation of the forum, 187 abstracts of submission reports (excluding the invitation report of the technical forum and the report of the industrial forum) were received, including more than 60 full-text papers. The forum set up a POSTER interactive exchange session. In order to encourage more outstanding authors, the forum specially set up the best POSTER award. After presentation, voting and the opinions of the review committee, six winners (the first author) were selected. Among them, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China Chen Zhiyu won the first prize; Professor Fang Wenqing of Nanchang University and Hu Peng of Xi ‘an Jiaotong University won the second prize; Xing Weishuo of Hebei University of Technology, Nie Jingxin of Peking University and Song Anke of Xiamen University won the third prize. In addition to specially inviting heavy guests to present trophies and honorary certificates to POSTER winners, the organizing committee also prepared rich physical prizes for each winner!
At the closing ceremony, a grand ceremony was held to award the Best POSTER Award. Lars SAMUELSON, a member of the Nobel Jury, an academician of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, an academician of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering and a professor of Lund University in Sweden, was specially invited to present the honorary trophy to the first prize winner.
Braham FERREIRA, a professor at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and former chairman of IEEE PELS, was specially invited to present honorary trophies to Professor Fang Wenqing of Nanchang University and Hu Peng of Xi ‘an Jiaotong University, the second prize winners.
Sakata Slim, the stationmaster of SPring-8 BL15XU Line Station of Japanese National Institute of Materials, was specially invited to present honorary trophies to the third prize winners Peking University Nie Jingxin, Hebei University of Technology Xing Weishuo and Xiamen University Song Anke (pictured: led by the instructor Professor Kang Junyong).
In addition to the above honors, in order to encourage more outstanding authors to participate, the forum also prepared physical prizes!
SSLCHINA& IFWS 2019 Best POSTER was announced, and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China Chen Zhiyu won the first prize.
[After the forum, we have mailed the certificate of honor+physical prizes, please pay attention to the winners! 】
