From June 3 rd to 5 th, the first stage of the ring tower started in Turpan Basin. At this stage, there are three stages of the race, with a total of 838.7! On the 3rd, Yun Xiang Club got off to a good start in the SSI competition. The 103rd car group, Jin Yungang and Wang Zengrong, won the first place in the SS1 stage with a time of 2:18:56, which made a good start for this event!
On the day of the race, drivers experienced Gobi, canyons, deserts and other types of roads. In recent days, the Turpan Basin is extremely hot in the afternoon, the ambient temperature often rises to 41 degrees, and the surface temperature often reaches more than 50 degrees, which is not only a huge test for the engine of the racing car, but also the competitive difficulty coefficient of the same race has soared. Even under such difficult conditions, the four teams of Vexcor Filter Care Yun Xiang Club still adhered to the competitive spirit of the competition, persevered and struggled hard, and finally achieved good results!
Although there were some accidents in the SS2 match on the 4th, in the SS3 match on the 5th, the warriors of Yun Xiang Club rallied and made great efforts again! The stage needs to experience the famous Kumutage Desert, and it is no small challenge for drivers to climb three big steps in succession to enter the Kumutage Desert. Out of the desert stage, there are several steep slopes of Xiasha Mountain. Once they deviate from the main course, there may be a dangerous situation of rollover. At the same time, they also put forward extremely high requirements for the drivers and navigators. Even under such complicated stage conditions, Yun Xiang Club’s racing car has achieved good results again in the SS3 race, especially for the 103 car groups, Jin Yungang and Wang Zengrong.
The second stage of the ring tower race will start again on June 7, and the drivers will move to Hami!
