[Sina Home]: What do you think of the current changes in the needs of owners? How to deal with this change as a high-end interior designer?
[Zheng Jun]: In fact, no matter how it changes, it is inseparable from "life". The relationship between residential space and people is closely linked. Our design has always been to serve "people", taking life as the starting point, and integrating the ideal state of "nature, simplicity and health" into the space design to achieve a humanistic fit. For many years, I have always adhered to my own ideas. No matter how the actual situation changes, problems can be solved easily through multi-party communication and my own professional quality.
[Sina Home]: How do you keep a steady stream of inspiration in your daily design after working for many years?
[Zheng Jun]: This is a multi-faceted absorption and sentiment. Keep loving and exploring life, and you will get unexpected gains wherever you go. There will be new learning and thinking from daily life or construction technology and new materials, so as to be integrated into design to achieve innovation. I think the future development trend of residential design must be closer to "people" itself.
[Sina Home]: Is it convenient to share the benchmarking projects you have done and the design ideas of the projects?
[Zheng Jun]: In fact, there is no such thing as benchmarking. We always maintain a consistent design attitude and treat every project seriously and rigorously. Residential design focuses on life and daily life, starting from the owner’s own demand for space functions, helping the owner to solve problems and create an ideal and comfortable living environment.
[Sina Home]: As an experienced interior designer, what do you think of the consumer trends of HVAC and comfort systems in recent years?
[Zheng Jun]: It is the same as our design philosophy, focusing on "health" and caring for human nature. Science and technology change life, and the continuous improvement of life quality is also meeting people’s spiritual needs. Intelligent technology and home life complement each other, and intelligent, functional, personalized and high-quality products can better meet the needs of owners.
[Sina Home]: In your design, how do you generally determine the design/solution of the whole house HVAC comfort system with the owner?
[Zheng Jun]: Overall consideration. There are many pipes buried in the wall of HVAC equipment, so the problems of installation and closing need to be considered and discussed with HVAC designers to solve practical problems more systematically. Combined with the functionality of HVAC, it is integrated with space design to ensure the effect of the design after landing.
[Sina Home]: As an interior designer, what kind of HVAC comfort system do you think can make you feel at ease and recommend it to the owner?
[Zheng Jun]: First of all, the safety and high quality of products directly affect the use effect and the later maintenance cost. Secondly, the practicality and sustainability of the product, and the good use experience also determines the quality of life. Installation and after-sales play a decisive role in reflecting the professionalism of HVAC system, and the integration and aesthetics of product and space design are also factors to be considered, so many choices of compatibility are the consideration and exploration of products.
[Sina Home]: In your design project, how do you evaluate or feel about the German Count in general? Are there any special cases to share?
[Zheng Jun]: With the development concept of high-efficiency combustion and low-carbon environmental protection, energy saving and environmental protection are the basic requirements for the heating system. With his rich experience in heating technology and innovative spirit, Earl of Germany took the lead in producing products with low energy consumption and comfort, achieving a perfect balance between comfort and environmental protection.
[Sina Home]: "2022 Excellent Design Youth" is an annual honor jointly certified by Sina Home and Jintang Award, which has the most communication value for young design leaders. How do you feel about winning this honor?
[Zheng Jun]: I would like to thank the organizer for awarding this honor. I have witnessed the ups and downs of this industry for more than 20 years, and I have learned a lot along the way. Interior design is constantly advancing and developing, and we are all moving forward in this era, throwing waste heat. There will be new opportunities and new challenges in the future. No matter how the industry changes and develops, we will stick to the most original things in our hearts, continue to pass on the design with temperature, and return to the original life.
