It is bad in nature and should be taken off the shelves according to law; 80 apps such as "Oriental Headline" have problems such as frequently asking for unnecessary rights, starting the privacy policy for the first time without prompting, failing to inform the relevant personal information processing rules, checking the privacy policy by default, and being unable or difficult to cancel the account, which violates the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations, and is ordered to complete the rectification within one month according to law. If the rectification is not completed within the time limit, it will be removed from the shelves according to law.
The relevant person in charge of the National Network Information Office said that it will always adhere to the rule of law, manage the network according to law, continue to strengthen daily supervision in the field of personal information protection, continuously strengthen law enforcement, and resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of people’s personal information.
