KISS won the Global Energy World Award in the category of "Fire", and the green plan carried out by the institute can help reduce the ecological footprint of large-scale cooking. As many as 2000 projects from 178 countries compete for the global energy world prize in five categories: land, fire, water, air and youth. India, Thailand and Spain were selected as the finalists of the Fire Awards. After a comprehensive and in-depth evaluation, the high-level jury chose KISS to win the prize, and KISS became the only Indian organization to win the prize.
KISS has modernized the preparation of food for 27,000 students with the help of biogas power plants, steam-based cooking systems, solar heating systems and rainwater conservation systems. Politicians, policy makers, officials and Nobel Laureates from all over the world praised the environment-friendly system adopted by the institute after visiting KISS.

Due to the imminent threat of global warming, the whole world is facing environmental dangers. At this time, all human beings on earth feel the urgency of protecting the environment. 」
The Global Energy World Award is an environmental award, which recognizes the current better solutions in energy and climate change. The award was born in Austria in 1999 as a local project. Since then, it has developed into a global award, which is awarded in more than 170 countries every year. The Global Energy World Prize is awarded at the national level at the local level first every year. The best projects can be nominated for the Global Energy World Awards in five different categories. The final global awards ceremony is held in a different country every year.
The jury of the Global Energy World Prize includes a series of famous environmental activists, including professors, Don Baker, maneca Gandhi (), Peter Rae and Franz-Josef Radermacher.
