The Microelectronics College of Tianjin University is one of the 26 national demonstration microelectronics colleges under construction and preparation. There are 678 undergraduates and 579 graduate students of various types, including 509 graduate students with dual certificates. In order to meet the needs of the development of national integrated circuit industry and the layout of school discipline construction, it was officially put into independent operation in November 2016. In December 2017, Tianjin University released the "Construction Plan of World-class University of Tianjin University", with microelectronics as one of the ten key supporting construction areas.

In December 2017, Tianjin University released the "Tianjin University World-Class University Construction Program", and microelectronics is one of the ten key support areas for construction.

Subject foundation
Discipline
Relying on the national first-class discipline of electronic science and technology, we will build three two disciplines, namely, circuit and system, microelectronics and solid-state electronics, electromagnetic field and microwave technology, among which microelectronics and solid-state electronics are the national second-class key disciplines, and two engineering fields, namely, electronics and communication engineering and integrated circuit engineering, and doctoral programs and postdoctoral mobile stations in electronic science and technology.
Based on national first-level disciplines in electronic science and technology, we have three secondary disciplines in microelectronics and solid-state electronics, circuits and systems, and electromagnetic and microwave technologies, among which microelectronics and solid-state electronics is national secondary key discipline, there are Two masters programs in integrated circuits engineering, electronics and communications engineering, doctoral programs in electronic science and technology, and postdoctoral research stations.
The college has 18 professors, 20 associate professors, 3 lecturers and 3 pre-hired teachers. There are 1 Changjiang Scholar, 2 national "Jieqing" students, 1 academician of Canadian Academy of Engineering, 1 award for famous teachers in Tianjin, 6 talents in the new century from the Ministry of Education, and 1 innovation team in key areas of Tianjin Innovative Talents Promotion Program.
The School of Microelectronics currently has 18 professors, 20 associate professors, 3 lecturers, and 3 assistant professor. The School of microelectronics has 1 Yangtze River Scholar, 2 national "Thousand Talents plan" scholars, 2 national "Outstanding Youth" scholar, 1 academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, 1 excellent teaching award of Tianjin, 6 New Century Talents of the Ministry of Education,and 1 Innovation team in key areas of the Tianjin Innovation Talent Promotion Program.
The Institute currently has the National Integrated Circuit Talent Training Base, Tianjin National Modern Service Industry Integrated Circuit Design Industrialization Base, Key Laboratory of Advanced Ceramics and Processing Technology of the Ministry of Education (one direction), Tianjin Key Laboratory of Imaging and Sensing Microelectronics Technology, International Internet of Things Joint Research Center (Tianjin), Tianjin Integrated Circuit and Computing System Technology Engineering Center and other scientific research platforms. And cooperated with Hefei Innovation and Development Research Institute, Qingdao Ocean Engineering Research Institute, Tianjin University Georgia Institute of Technology Shenzhen Institute and many other research institutes in different places.
The school has many experimental and training platforms, such as National Integrated Circuit Personnel Training Base, Tianjin National Modern Service Industry Integrated Circuit Design and Industrialization Base, Ministry of Education Advanced Ceramics and Processing Technology Key Laboratory (One of the Directions), Tianjin Key Laboratory of Imaging and Awareness Microelectronic Technology, International Internet of Things Joint Research Center (Tianjin), Tianjin Integrated Circuit and Computing System Technology Engineering Center.We also cooperate with Hefei Institute of Innovation and Development, Qingdao Ocean Engineering Research Institute, Georgia Institute of Technology Shenzhen University of Tianjin, and many other non-local research institutes.

Position: permanent professor;
Salary: the annual salary before tax is 650,000-700,000 yuan (full-caliber statistical income);
Resettlement fee: 2.5 million yuan (including the part funded by the state and Tianjin) to provide sublet housing for the talent week in the school;
Scientific research funds: 2.5-4.5 million yuan for science and engineering (including state-funded part) and 300,000 yuan for scientific research start-up fees for humanities and social sciences;

Start-up research fund: RMB 2.5-4.5 million for science and engineering fields (including the national government support) and 0.3 million for humanities and social science fields.

Appointment: Full-time tenured professor
Salary: An annual salary before tax from RMB 550,000 to 600,000 (all-inclusive salary).
Relocation allowance: RMB 200,000-1,000,000 (including Tianjin municipal government support).
Start-up research fund: TJU will provide RMB 1 million for science and engineering fields and 0.2 million for humanities and social science fields.

Post 2: long-term associate professor;
Salary: the annual salary before tax is 400,000-450,000 yuan (full-caliber statistical income);
