Such a long time is really not simple for a car company to independently develop an engine. It only takes one and a half years to design in the early stage. It can be seen from the official website that in the whole engine development process, there are as many as six rounds of durability test alone, and the time of a single test is as long as 1,000 hours. When testing its power performance, it has created various harsh environments for this 1.5T engine, including various bad roads, mountain roads and potholes. There are also special engineers to reduce vibration and noise for this 1.5T engine, such as installing silencers in the intake pipe and using composite damping steel plates for the oil pan. Therefore, in the design of the whole cylinder block, this 1.5T engine also looks very compact.
After R&D and design, the core technology is the top priority of this 1.5T engine. Through years of cooperation with Ford, Jiangling endowed the GTDI engine with the reputation of "Top Ten Engines in the World" with the brand-new Yusheng S330.
