The work is created in black and white woodcut, depicting the corner of the living environment in the community where the author lives at 9 am, and the picture reflects the new look of the new countryside. The simple "L" shape composition shows different levels of warm light outside the window through the orderly arrangement of lines, and the sunrise is warm and comfortable, which makes us feel the beauty of the world.

The theme of the 8th Biennale is "Colorful World and Common Destiny". "Colorful world" refers to the diversity of world civilization, and "common destiny" refers to Community of Shared Future for Mankind. Although the theme of "colorful world and common destiny" is abstract, its spiritual connotation is quite broad and profound, which provides artists from all over the world with a broad and rich artistic imagination space.
The Chinese and foreign works exhibited in this Biennale fully embody the spirit of exchange and mutual learning among diverse civilizations in the world. They not only maintain the artistic characteristics of different civilizations in the East and the West, but also absorb the artistic elements of other countries’ civilizations, showing a multi-complementary, colorful and colorful artistic style in artistic creation.
