According to reports, Xiaoma Zhixing’s automatic driving domain controller is equipped with two versions of single Orin and dual Orin, with computing power of 254TOPS and 508TOPS respectively. NVIDIA DRIVE Orin can handle a large number of applications and deep neural networks at the same time, while reaching system-level safety standards to ensure safe, advanced and intelligent vehicle performance.
Based on the support of the domain controller and Xiaoma Zhixing’s automatic driving software and hardware, vehicles can realize a variety of intelligent driving functions in busy urban open roads and expressways, including: following cars in congested sections, changing lanes independently according to navigation, overtaking/bypassing in lane change, turning around at intersections, signal light identification or passing through unlighted intersections, bypassing construction and accident areas, VRU (traffic vulnerable groups) identification and handling (including mixed-flow road driving), ramp traffic and merging into main roads, and so on.
It is reported that Xiaoma Zhixing started the automatic driving test based on NVIDIA DRIVE Orin in January this year, and continuously optimized the software performance to realize real-time operation with ultra-low delay. Xiaoma Zhixing Autopilot Team will use NVIDIA DRIVE Orin chip as the central computing and AI engine.

去年5月起,小马智行与 NVIDIA 开始合作研发基于 DRIVE Orin 的系统,加速了小马智行的硬件研发进程。今年1月,小马智行首度公开第六代面向L4车规级量产设计的自动驾驶软硬件系统方案,该系统搭载车规级多传感器方案,同样采用 NVIDIA DRIVE Orin 系统级芯片,整体造型设计更加集成美观,更加贴近量产设计理念。
第一批搭载该系统的车型为 S-AM(Sienna Autono-MaaS),一款基于7座赛那的混合电动平台。这批车辆将于今年在国内开启道路测试,2023年上半年投入自动驾驶出行服务(Robotaxi)的日常运营。基于与 NVIDIA 深度合作的量产级自动驾驶计算单元,全新一代自动驾驶软硬件系统的安全性和稳定性表现将更上一层楼,推动前沿自动驾驶技术的规模化应用。
