American Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) was established in 1985, and its headquarters is located in Massachusetts, USA. Creo is a CAD design software package launched by PTC Company of the United States in October 2010. At the beginning of the meeting, Zhou Ling, director of the IoT of Pairui Technology, gave a speech entitled "Leading China through the Intelligent Age". At the beginning of the speech, Mr. Zhou Ling briefly introduced Pairui Technology and PTC Company, and their long-term strategic partnership. The product development strategy of PTC company in synchronization with manufacturing industry is exactly what Pairui Technology has been following. Later, Mr. Zhou Ling explained in detail the transformation of the old industrial giants of General Electric (GE). GE chose PTC IOT platform ThingWorx as the excellent factory enabling platform, which was implemented and promoted in 530 factories of GE. In 2015, 16 factories were deployed, and in 2016, 75 factories were deployed, which achieved rapid implementation and quick results. GE Digital chose ThingWorx to expand the capability of independent software products and jointly introduce excellent manufacturing solutions to the industry. GE’s typical case represents the new trend of the transformation of intelligent connected products. Among them, ThingWorx was chosen to deploy the Internet of Things, which changed the way the company created, operated, maintained and sold products, made the original complex Internet of Things (IoT) development fast and simple, and enabled innovators to quickly build and deploy revolutionary applications and solutions for today’s intelligent connected world. At the same time, Mr. Zhou Ling also introduced the IoT smart service cases of Pairui Technology in medical companies and water companies, which fully reflected the efficient and fast deployment of the Internet of Things platform by ThingWorx.
Next, Duan Liyuan, a Creo expert in the CAD division of Pairui Technology, shared the latest functions of Creo4.0 for the participants and explained in detail the important part of the new functions: the MBD road from drawings to models. The latest version released by PTC Company focuses on five aspects: model-based enterprise, improvement of production efficiency, easy realization from Creo to AR, design for intelligent interconnected products, and design for additive manufacturing. With the development of enterprise IT information construction, the data is expanding, but the difficulty of obtaining accurate data is increasing, which is mainly reflected in the increasingly complex product information, the distribution across multiple systems, the needs of various roles with different skills, and the problem of information islands on multiple devices, that is, it is impossible to quickly access products or the information needed to complete tasks. In this context, PTC ThingWorx Navigate solution came into being. It provides information aggregation content based on roles and tasks, and the roles themselves obtain accurate product information. Subsequently, PTC Channel Manager Wang Ying brought PTC’s latest policy analysis and software subscription model introduction.
