The 2019 World Young Scientists Summit was jointly organized by the China Association for Science and Technology and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, and was held in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province from October 26th to 27th. With the theme of "gathering talents from all over the world to create a better future", the summit has set up 35 sub-activities in four sections, namely, scientific moment, future dialogue, embracing science and technology, and reunion and sharing, including an opening ceremony, 12 core sub-activities and 22 extension activities. The key activities include high-end dialogue between party and government leaders and scientists, high-end docking activities of talent projects, round table of global young scientific and technological leaders, seminar on future community construction cooperation between China and Europe for sustainable development, five youth π activities and declaration conference. Representatives from 102 countries, regions and international organizations attended the summit, including 4 Nobel Prize winners, 1 Turing Prize winner, 57 overseas academicians and 52 domestic academicians.
